Spanish with Ms. Nelly
Ms. Nelly's native language is Spanish. Her teaching approach is through Immersion Method where children are exposed to Spanish in everyday scenarios. Playing, painting or eating together, children always hear and speak English and Spanish language equally and form a solid foundation for further bilingual learning.
Yoga and Positive Affirmations
Yoga activities are a great way to teach children about relaxation and meditation, while having fun at the same time. Positive Affirmations helps to set a positive mood for the day. We are using our BeeMorning cards that are thoughtfully designed to utilize words that focus on what it means to be kind, brave, and unique as well as how to deal with uncomfortable emotions.
Our BeeMorning cards introduce vocabulary that empowers children to talk about and better understand their own feelings and experiences. When children can label their emotions, they can then own them, which minimizes frustration in communication and further encourages positive behaviors.
